This is a community art and research project called Lewiston Is Our Hope, led by Yun Garrison, a professor at Bates. The final work will be an installation comprised of small paintings contributed by members of the Lewiston community. This workshop is one of many, intended to specifically include queer and trans voices and imagination in our community's collective creative vision.
